Jim Bowden's Twitter feed is funny.

The only question is, does he mean it to be funny? I have two theories here. The first one is that no, he doesn't intend his Twitter feed to be funny. The second theory is that no, he doesn't intend his Twitter feed to be funny.

Where to start? Oh, how about his very last tweet:
Peavy for Poreda and Richard? The other 2 prospects better be top prospects or the Padres pre-ejaculated in this deal......
Congrats to Kris Allen and America for over 1 million votes! Congrats to American Idol for the best show in Prime Time and in my Life Time!
Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey's fight against vaccines with the possibility of their correlation with the increase in autism should be heard
Obama after receiving a team jersey from Phillies SS Jimmy Rollins, asks, "can I have the WS ring too?"...u gotta love Rock Obama!
I need a helicopter on tuesday....Ducks and Lakers playing same time in Southern Cal.....anyone have one I can borrow for a few hours?

It was 100 million votes. Not that it matters, but he was off by a factor of, well, 100.

and OMG! VACCINES CAUSE AUTISM!

Are McCarthy and Carrey mebers of Scientology? Seems like something Bowden would join, as well as something Scientologists would believe.

On more thing...
There is always some sort of risk when you inject something into a person - infection, allergic reaction, etc. I don't mean to make light of people's concerns. But a large majority of the highly valid/reliable epidemiological studies on this issue show no relationship between vaccines and autism.

@ Rebecca -

Yeah, and, uh... how about that stupid Jim Bowden, huh?I'd like to inject him with something...

yeah! stupid Jim Bowden - with his helicopters and crappy baseball knowledge. hey - was he in charge of getting us Cabrera?

Section 138 said...

Yes, he signed Cabrera to that brutal 1 year $2.6MM contract.

I'm not sure we can rip on anybody's prefered nighttime TV viewing when, uh, most of our nighttime TV viewing is the Nats. Just sayin'.

I also think he was referring to The Rock when talking about Obama.

Doctor - WRONG! ALL WRONG!

Oh my, wonder if John Hart Tweets??? I could see him and Jim kicking back with a congac and a cigar at some smoky lounge calling their waitress "sugar-lips" while one of them slips a hotel room key.

maybe, perhaps? said...

Bowden's referening to the President as "Rock Obama" may be a reference to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson playing Obama in an SNL skit earlier this year.

Sorry to diverge from the confersation at hand, but does anyone else see a similarity between Shawn Hill's throwing motion and Craig Stammen's? I really, really hope I'm just seeing things...
